Gulmarg means Meadows of flowers was earlier known as Gaurimag. This is located 52 km from Srinagar and can be reached by car in approx two hours. Gulmarg is known for its ski slopes and world's highest golf course. Main attraction of Gulmarg is a Gondola ride. It takes 10 mins from Gulmarg to Kongdoori and 12 mins from Kongdoori to Apharwat peak. Visiting Khilanmarg, seven springs, Tangmarg, Lienmarg is highly recommended. Gulmarg is a year round destination. In winter it is famous for its ski slopes and in summers its green meadows and pine forests. Please note that you need to take local taxi union vehicles for Gulmarg sightseeing and our vehicle can only drop and pick you up from the hotel in Gulmarg for transfer to Srinagar and Pahalgam. We can not use our vehicle for sightseeing in Gulmarg and Pahalgam due to local taxi union restrictions.

This is the starting point of the Amarnath yatra. From Chandanwari onwards the track becomes much steeper, being accessible on foot or by pony only. 11 km from Chandanwari is the mountain lake of Sheshnag, after which, 13 km away is the last stop, Panchtarni. A narrow spiralling path from Panchtarni leads to the Amarnath Cave. ARU a small village, 11 kms upstream of the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. This charming meadow can be reached by walking along a mountain path. The river Lidder disappears at Gur Khumb and reappears after 27 mts. One can enjoy horse ride or visit betab valley. Betaab Valley, situated just 7 km up on Pahalgam, has got its name from Sunny Deol’s movie, Betaab. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. There is a beautiful garden in the valley, with a bridge to cross the river. The Drive to Sonmarg is through the Sindh Valley which presents another facet of the countryside in Kashmir and has snowy mountains in its backdrop. Sonmarg is the main base for the treks that passes along several mountain lakes like the Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangabal. Sonmarg is also the major point for the drive to Ladakh across the Zoji La pass. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahseer.
